Samantha Chapman's Real Techniques Expert Face Brush Overview and Review

So, I finally got hold of my very own Real Techniques makeup brush. I bought the Expert Face Brush.

Description from realtechniques.com:
Ultra firm and broad for application and blending of cream or liquid foundation:
  • look pixel-perfect even in harsh light
  • ultra-plush, synthetic taklon bristles are hand-cut and
    100% cruelty-free
  • self-standing for easy storage
  • extended aluminum handle is light and easy to use

The packaging.

Brand name printed on the handle.

Base is rubberized for a non-slip grip and can stand on its own.

Bristles are dense, soft and super fine! and it has a dome shape.

Dense bristles.

On the right is the Elf Studio Face brush. Real Techniques Expert face brush is obviously smaller.

Elf brush is larger but bristle density is almost the same.

Overall impression:
I love it! I love my new Real Techniques expert face brush. I use it for both liquid and cream foundation and works really great. The soft and fine bristles applies the foundation well on the skin with minimal or almost no streak marks as compared to a flat foundation brush. They do not feel scratchy and hard o n the skin but rather so soft and smooth like you are having a facial massage. The dome shape also helps get the product into the hollows or crevices of the face where a flat top brush can't reach. I prefer using foundation brushes over sponges. And among foundation brushes, this is the best I have used so far.

I purchased mine from Makeup Stash for Php750 with shipping of Php80 (Total Php 830). You can visit their online store for more branded cosmetic products like Beauty UK, Miners, Real Techniques, and others. I was suppose to order from realtechniques.com, however, they do not ship to the Philippines. So, if you are living in the Philly and wants Real Techniques brushes, just visit Makeup Stash.

Have you tried Real Techniques brushes? What can you recommend?
