LTSB Photoshoot: Thea Llamido

and yet another creative/glamour photoshoot

Here's my latest project with the La Trinidad Shutterbugs. As the group's official makeup artist, together with the other admins and members, we wanted to do something uncommon and unusual. We wanted to go beyond the casual, glamour and fashion themed photoshoot/pictorial so we decided to go all out with the production from props, to costume to makeup and styling.

To make the production really special, we picked one of Baguio's in demand models, Ms. Thea Llamido. For the theme, our main inspiration was Jasmine You, the late Bass member of the Jrock band Versailles Philharmonic Quintet. Below is the inspirational pic.

Athough Jasmine You was the inspiration, we did not totally copy her entire look. We toned down the pieces and picked a different color. Of course, we wanted to make the production as unique as possible. We clashed hard rock with colorful and happy accents which I didn't think it would turn out great.

For Thea's makeup, we wanted something vibrant and colorful to go with the flower headdress. I picked gold and popped in on to the inner corner of her eyes, purple on the entire main eye lid and black on the outer corners winged out. To make it more flashy, I placed on pink feather lashes. To add some sparkle, I placed rhinestones of different colors below her eyes. And to finish the look, hot pink lips were applied on her lips. For the hair, I wanted it big and fluffy so I curled them with a half inched curling iron.

Below is the whole look. On the head are mixed colorful hand made flowers from Accents and Petals. On her left shoulder is actually a feather headdress (from Accents and Petals)  which we planned to place on her head with the flowers but eventually went on her shoulder. The arm accessories are lace gloves I made with chain bracelets. On her right shoulder is an arm accessory I made as well similar to Jasmine's attire. The corset dress with belt accented skirt  was made by my friend Ivy Lita.
