Muti-task your Kabuki Brush (Beauty Cosmetics Retractable Pink kabuki Brush)
It's bristles are thick, dense and soft. The color is trendy as well, a white with ombre pink tips. Love how soft it is no complains when used. It doesn't shed nor bleed when washed.
A kabuki brush is used to apply and buff mineral powder foundation. But I do not have mineral makeup and thus, use this for 4 face products: setting powder, blush, highlighter and contour powder. The retractable case comes in handy for these different purposes.
As usual, for setting or finishing makeup powders, I fully retract the case to the base to expose the entire brush so the dense and fluffy bristles can pick up and apply the product unto the whole face in no time.
To use it for blush, the whole brush is too large for the cheek so, I retract the case midway the length of the bristles. This only exposes half of the head of the brush and so minimizes the size, just right to apply blush. The highlighter is also applied in this way.
For contouring, of course we only want the hollows of the cheeks and sides of the nose to be applied with a bronzer. The bristles of the brush can again be re-sized to a smaller shape to fit for the purpose of contouring. I move the retractable case up a little to expose only the tips of the brush. And now use it to pick up the bronzer and contour the cheeks and sides of the nose.
