Physician's Formula Shimmer Strips Eye Enhancing Shadow and Liner in Nude Eyes Swatches and Review

Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Eye Enhancing Shadow and Liner in Nude Eyes was another intriguing nude eye palette when it saw it from SweetAndSparkle, an local online store that sells US cosmetic products. I am so into nude and earth shadows because they are the most used and appropriate makeup for daytime, so I immediately ordered one when I first saw it. Read on below to know more about this eyeshadow.

It's 7.5 grams and I bought it for Php540.00 from SweetAndSparkle.

It comes in a beautiful and cute packaging. It's plastic housing is covered with a black lace and a tiny bow in the front. The front is a windowed flap cover so you can see right through the eye shadows without opening it. It has no mirror but got one tiny sponge tip applicator with an angled shape.

This eye shadow palette contains 9 shimmery shades that can be mixed and combined and complement each other.

When I saw this online and saw the price of Php540, I immediately ordered it because I find it affordable as compared to other nude palettes. And it contains 9 shades! However, I was laughing and sort of disappointed when it arrived because it was so cute and tiny it just fits right on my palm!

WHAT DO I SAY
The shades of this eye shadow palette is all about shimmers. No matte. I find the first 5 light shades to be the same with each other though they have different colors. The swatches are not really that close to the eye shadow itself. They are all similar shimmery shadows with similar result on swatches. The 4 darker shades got better color pay off. They give beautiful result and effect for a metallic or bronze smokey eye look.

 I believe the wet eye shadow technique is the best way to apply this palette as it brings out the color and intensity of the shadows. In my opinion, they are not very pigmented but rather just shimmery when applied without a primer. The colors intensify with primers used beforehand.

I LOVE the sleek, girly and cute packaging. It appears like its not a makeup but like a cute packaged token. It's also tiny it can fit a small purse. Though, I am not really impressed with the color pay off of this palette, I use the light shades as highlight for the brow bone, inner corners of the eyes and sometimes on top of my cheeks.
