Ciate Caviar Manicure Nail Art Dupe

The word 'caviar' pertains to the roe of large fish (such as sturgeon), which is common in culinary. However, in the beauty industry, caviar is known as the tiny beads applied on nails. As the definition shows, caviar is used to call the 'micro bead nail art' because it resembles the mass of eggs fish organisms. Caviar nails was first introduced by Ciate, if I'm not wrong. It was a blast and became famous among beauty and fashion enthusiasts despite its expensive price. Then later on, other brands and companies released their on caviar nails at affordable and reasonable prices. One of the many dupes is Charm Limit, which I am going to show on this blogpost. Read on to know about this.

This Charm Limit Caviar nails Set was provided for by Jeanah, a local online shop here in Baguio.   The set is contained in an attractive box which has a print and design inspired from Ciate. 

This set contains two bottles, the base nail varnish and the caviar beads and I was provided a pearl white set. It also comes with a tiny funnel used to return and keep any unused beads.

With cleaned and groomed nails, apply the first coat of the base varnish on all the fingernails. Next after their dry, work on each nails one by one. On the first nail, thickly apply your second coat of varnish, while its still wet, immediately pour on the beads onto it. Then gently press the beads so they stick on to the base and to get a flat surface. Do the same thing on each of the rest of the nails. Finally, wait for them to completely dry before moving around.

WHAT DO I SAY

This nail art appears elegant and beautiful, more so that it is a pearly white shade.  It looks so fresh, clean and neat. I would love to wear this on special occasions. I also think it would suit a beautiful bride during her wedding day to match her white wedding gown. You might want to try this if you're bored with the usual plain nail polish. It's an instant bling bling!

This is also seems to be a good dupe for Ciate. Ciate Caviar nail art sets cost £18.00 or 1218.80. This set only costs Php250 from Jeanah. Although I haven't personally tried Ciate, its quality may be far better than this. From experience, this nail art would probably not last long on nails. Because the micro beads are only attached on the varnish, they may easily fall off. The longevity of the nail art may depend on some factors like how thick or thin you applied your base, how often do you move around like washing dishes, doing the laundry etc. I also don't like the smell of the base varnish, it's too irritating on the nose. This though is subjective as I have a sensitive sense of smell.

I would probably wear this on special occasions only as they are gorgeous and looks very expensive when worn. They may also be worn during regular days if you prefer.
