Bifesta Age Care Cleansing Lotion First Impression

I was one of the lucky winners for The Beauty Junkee and Bifesta's giveaway recently. They have sent me a 30ml Bifesta Age Care Cleansing Lotion with a makeup pouch and a mini canvas bag as a prize. So, what is Bifesta? Read more to know.

Bifesta is a Japanese cosmetics brand and its basically a makeup remover liquid product. This is my first time encountering this product so I don't know much about it. I searched online to check if they have an official website but I can't seem to find one. However, I've read several blogs talking and raving about this good product.

According to their Facebook page, Bifesta Philippines, Bifesta is a daily beauty solution. A one step-makeup  remover that cleanses and nourishes. From the packaging it says, it is a breakthrough makeup remover series with the power of oil cleansing minus the oliy feeling. With its quality formula, Bifesta gently removes makeup and cleanses the face in just one step, leaving the skin feeling fresh and clean. Bifesta Cleansing Lotion is Japan's first water based makeup remover and has been largely popular all over Asia.

Bifesta is available in four variants:

MOIST (Deep Moisturizing) for extra moisture for normal to dry skin. Contains Ceramide-like ingredient to retain moisture, keeping the skin's natural balance making it protected from any possible irritation.

SEBUM (Oil Remover) for oil control for combination oily skin. Contains Green tea extract that tightens pores preventing excessive oil formation.

BRIGHT UP (Whitening) removes dead skin cells for brighter, even-toned skin. Removes skin cells that cause dullness and darkening of pores and inhibits melanin production (saxifrage extract). For a more bright, even-toned skin.

AGE CARE (Deep Nourishment) for rich nourishment to prevent pre-mature skin ageing. Contains Coenzyme Q10 for deep nourishment and cell renewal. It also protects skin from premature aging due to sun's exposure maintaining healthy young skin.

I received the AGE CARE Deep Nourishment variant and what's I'm going to talk about.

HOW TO USE:

1. Wet cotton pad with cleansing lotion with about 2-3 pumps.

2. Remove the makeup by gently wipinh wet cotton pad all over face.

3. When removing eye makeup, hold the cotton for a while, then carefully wipe it off in downward motion to avoid contact with eyes.

4. For heavy makeup users, change cotton pad and repeat the process until no traces of dirt can be seen.

Here's a quick eye makeup I did to try on this product.

Since what I have is the 30ml sample size of Bifesta, It doesn't come with a pump so I just soaked my pad with it just enough to clean one eye area. I pressed the pad over the eye for a few seconds and wiped away.

Amazing how it's totally clean. Except the eyeliner of course because it was deeply seated in between the lashes. But with just one swipe, it looks like I don't  need to re-swipe because the lid had no trace of makeup on it. It didn't also sting my eye unlike when you wash with facial foams. I used one cotton pad to clean up one eye area. However, when I washed my face with my Pond's facial foam, there were still mascara products left which Bifesta didn't remove.

Here I'm wearing a matte lipstick from Wet n Wild in Cherry Picking.Matte lipsticks are one of the most difficult lipsticks to remove. 

Here's the after photo after wiping if off with Bifesta. It dissolved the lipstick quite well but it tastes bitter. Haha!

When I soaked it on my cotton pad, it had sort of a soapy texture. It's also fragrant free. After using it, my eye area doesn't feel greasy or oily at all, but feels a little sticky. I also feel like I don't need to rewash it with soap and water. Instead, it felt silky and dried immediately.

This is a good product for lazy ladies out there. For me, one of the musts before I go to bed is to clean up my face from all makeup junks and oils and dirts. However, there are times when you're out all day and get home late and you feel tired you just want to go to bed straightaway and you'r just too tired to wash your makeup off, then Bifesta should be your best friend.

What's good about this is that, it doesn't only act as a cleanser, but as a skincare product as well. It claims to nourish and help skin conditions.

If you have read my previous post, I have shared with you my DIY Makeup Remover. Comparing it with Bifesta, of course Bifesta is way better with all the science and technology behind it. The full size of 300ml costs Php419 where the homemade won't probably cost you a hundred pesos. I wish to purchase the full size in Bright Up Variant (because I have this lots of dark spots from pimples which I hate and wish to eliminate) so I can fully experience this and give it a full review and I still have to check it out in my area if its available..
