If you have seen my previous post before this, you would have noticed my brows were light and blonde. There I have used Dolly Wink Brow Mascara. As previously mention, Dolly Wink is a Japanese Cosmetic brand by Japan's famous gyaru icon, Tsubasa Masukawa. Dolly Wink mainly ranges from circles lenses to false lashes that caters to the gyaru trend. Aside from their Liquid Eyeliner Pen, which I have reviewed, I also bought their eyebrow mascara still from the same shop, Daphne's Corner. In this post, I am going to share with you my Dolly Wink Brow Mascara swatches and review.
Swatches. On top is Shade 01 and bottom is 02.
Here's a photo of my brows prior to applying the brow mascara. See how unattractive if you've got blonde hair but black brows? it looks manly! haha!
Shade 01 on actual brows. No photo editing or enhancements done except the watermark.
Shade 02 on actual brows.
Shade 01 matches well with my wig, my favorite wig.
WHAT DO I SAY
I have black hair actually and I know I won't be using this on a daily basis except when perhaps I get my hair blonde in the future. But this one is very helpful when I wear my wig for cosplay looks or any looks that needs light colored hair and brows.
From the usage of this product, I can say it is a good brow product. It is definitely pigmented where the shade you see in the packaging will be the exact shade when applied. It also keeps the brow follicles in place and preventing them from going anywhere.
Both shades I got have fine shimmery particles. It dries matte but the shimmers reflect when hit with light and they appear bronze-like. They dry fast and are smudge proof once completely dry. I tested it on water and it doesn't smudge. They peel off when rubbed with water but you still see some tints left. I can predict they would last for hours and hours as long as you keep them untouched.
I will keep these of course because I like how they work.
