Phnom Penh Designers Week 2014: La'Or

Last January 24-26 had been a blast. Phnom Penh Designers Week had just recently presented 3 days of fashion show with the theme: Reinvention of Tradition at The Plantation Hotel. as a fashion blogger, I was privileged to attend the 3 days of glitz and glamour. What did I witness? Read on.
It was an honor to have been invited in the fashion shows by one of the designers who is also a Filipino designer but based here in Phnom Penh, Don Protasio. The three day fashion show was participated by 12 designers. Read my previous post about it HERE. I will be featuring each of the designers I witnessed during the event. Unfortunately, I was not able to attend the Day One due to conflicting schedule. However, I will be sharing with you the runways during Day Two and Day Three.
“Earth, Wind & Fire" by Julie Schrag for La’Or
“The earth, the wind and the fire inspires the collection’s colour pallet, dye pattern & fabric application used in the garments. Embers of gold and orange develop into deep crimson red flames. Soft and floating fabric move like rippling flames carried by the wind. The La’Or woman in 2014 is a well grounded free spirit who is strong, passionate and full of energy.”

I would love to wear this orange maxi dress. It is so me.
The flowy cut and rich color is elegant and very feminine.
This jumper like suit is also a choice of mine.
"La'Or" is actually a Cambodian term which means good, nice or beautiful. Julie Schrag's collection is adorable. I love the bright and summery yellow, orange and red tones inspired from the element fire. The color is also brightening suitable for both deep and dark skin tones They are so much wearable on casual days, vacations at the bead or even for special occasions.
