My Vanity Set Up

I lalalalove my current vanity table set up for makeup. A sleek  white table with a foldable mirror and shelves on the side and a white comfy cube. Bright day light lamps for proper lighting. Cozy carpeted floor, with ambient lights around. But, alas! It's
just a dream! I wish I could say this pertaining to the photo above but nah, It's just an ideal vanity table I wish for.

This is how my actual current vanity set up looks like. (Look down.) I know it's not as good as you have expected but please don't laugh.

We have moved apartments for like 3 times already within less than a year and we are planning to move again before this month ends. And it's just because of certain unavoidable circumstances. I wish we would finally settling in one place longer this time. And frequent changing of places is just one  of the hard times expatriates may experience. It's really difficult being away from your home and living alone most of the times.

And because of that, I don't have a permanent, decent looking vanity set up table. I have looked around furniture shops here and found some good tables with mirrors. However, I am having second thoughts of purchasing one because I might not be able to bring them with me when I get back home to the Philippines for good. And I will just be wasting money. So for now, in the next remaining two weeks of our stay in our current apartment, this is how I set up my kits and essentials.

One of Cambodia's local produce is the rattan wood and so it is common to see rattan furniture around. From tables, to sofa sets, to lamps, and everything. The rattan shelf I have here is owned by my friend and it wasn't that expensive. The glass table and the large mirror were provided by the landlord.

On the top shelf are products I reach for the most. It contains my makeup brushes, eye pencils and liners, mascaras, makeup base products and skin care set.

On the second shelf are my palettes, blushes, lipsticks, lashes, face powders and hair brush.

And the bottom shelf contains my hair tools, camera bag, bottles of creams, lotions, hair gel, hairspray and other bottled stuffs I rarely use.

Gosh, I feel so pitiful with myself in this post. I feel like I am not living in the city. But I am hoping when we finally find a good place to move into next time, my vanity makeup set up would be better and decent. And maybe, I might decide to get that vanity table I saw in a shop last time.
