The Naked Face: Zero Make up

The Naked Face: Zero Make up

How is everybody tonight?
Hope everyone had a fantastic day.
It is now 8:52pm in the evening here in the Philippines.
Baby Chelsea is now fast asleep. Thank goodness I had time to freshen up.

This is me without make up.
Just finished washing my make up off with AVON Naturals Purifying deep was cleanser. Then toning it off with it's pair toner.

BEAUTY TIP FOR A CLEAR AND GLOWING SKIN:
Always wash off any trace of make up before going to sleep
NO MATTER HOW TIRED YOU ARE.
Even just washing them off with a good cleanser, you can skip the toner.
It will help your skin breathe and rest throughout the night.

Try not removing your make up at night, and when you get up in the morning,
you will feel your skin oily and sticky,
and be surprised with a raccoon or panda in front of your mirror!

But if you wash and tone your face at night before going to sleep,
you'll feel it fresh, light and silky.

Take my word.

Got to sleep now..
Zzzz....

The Joy of Kids

Here are some stories, funny and worth remembering moments with Chelsea Munich.

1.

This morning in the kitchen, Chelsea, my 1 yr and 4 mos baby reached a chili from the table. She bit it, then she paused. Later she dropped the chili on the floor and smashed it with her foot.

2.

Chelsea usually opens all drawers. She empty outs the boxes, then she goes in the boxes. Being an OC mom wanting to keep things in order, I decided to lock those drawers. When I needed something, I would use keys to open them. Unknowingly, Chelsea watches me everytime I do this. Then one time, I needed some stuffs from the drawer. I was about to insert my keys when I saw a hairpin inserted in the keyhole.

My Nichido Oct 15, 2010 Haul

Hey Everyone,

Today was SM Baguio's First day of their 3 Day Sale, October 15, 2010.
Went out and strolled with Chelsea even if it rained really hard.

A lot of good stuffs were on sale, but, even if they were on sale, they were still expensive. (sigh)

Of course, I went straight to my favourite section, The Departments Store make up corner.

And these were what I got:

First is the Nichido Professional Kabuki Brush.
I have always been wanting a Kabuki brush. Prices I've seen from Online Sellers range from 350-850php. But I was surprised and amazed Nichido has Kabuki brushes and so I just went ahead took one, considering the price which is PHP238. Not bad, eh?
It's bristles are made of synthetic nylon material and they are SUPER DUPER SOFT!
I just love running them into my face..hehe
Super cheap, too! Also, picks up a lot of product so you have to gently dab it on your powder or tap off excess product.
I just love it!

Next is this Nichido Final Powder in So Natural.
I read on Say's blog (http://www.saytiocoartillero.blogspot.com/) about this and I wanted to have one. I wanted a Translucent Powder but I wasn't able to find one so I just grabbed this Finishing Powder. No shimmer, it's matte. Lightly stays on the face, has a sweet smelling scent similar to Baby Powders. And it's PHP150.

Cheek blushes I have are those with peachy shade. I wanted to have a hot pink and this one's what I got. BUt when I came home and compared it with my other blushes,
they're almost the same! Heck!
This Nichido Powder Blush in Passionate Red is not highly pigmented.
It is just right if you want a light application. However, to make your cheeks stand out, you need reapply twice or thrice. But the effect on the skin is beautiful and flawless.
Makes the skin appear baby skin. =)
It's PHP88. Cheap huh?

Black is one of the essential eyeshadows. I only got the black eyeshadow from my 88 palette and hell, I don't want to consume all of it so I got a single eyeshadow still from Nichido. It is Eyeshadow in Soft Black with some tiny flecks of shimmer. Worth PHP68! Hihi..But again, just like the cheek blush, it's not highly pigmented so you have to reapply and reapply and reapply to intensify a black smokey look.

And because of my purchase, I got a FREE clear tote bag!
Yipee! The sales lady was also kind and accommodating.

Till next shopping!

Always,
Stella Jezebelle

My Online Tambayan

Hey everyone,

Havn't been blogging lately. Been quite busy.

I just wanted to share with you guys my Online Tambayan.

1. FACEBOOK!
Kahit kelan, Ever since, first thing I do when I get up in the morning is open my computer and check my FB account.. It is my breakfast, lunch and dinner..and even midnight snack! (when I stay up late night potato couching on the internet)
I also always browse FB make up sellers. Yeah I know I am addicted to make ups!

2. YOUTUBE!
I made it a habit to check my subscriptions for new videos from my favourite make up gurus. Do morning chores while waiting for the videos to be downloaded. (Bagal kasi ng net dito.) Because internet is so sloooooooow....
Not only that, I also check my chipipay videos if viewers increased. (I wish!) Here's the link to my youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/sizzy6967?feature=mhum
In my wishlist is an HD camcorder. So I can try what Michelle Phan is doing. bwahahaha!

3. Ebay Account/ Sulit.com
Then I also check my Ebay account if I've got sold items. Then I remind my buyers to pay. hehe
I don't usually open sulit,com.Just when I remember.

4. My Blog
Also, I don't forget checking my blog for comments, new followers! (which I am hoping to gain more). I want to do more blogging, but I still need better gadgets..hehe

5. My Beauty Shop
I also love checking out Rosenn Gomez's multiply site.
It's where I purchase most of my palettes. She's a kind and sweet seller that's why I keep coming back to her. If I don't purchase, I just window shop.hehe..Browsing over and over her items.

6. Other make up guru blogs:
Sometimes, I am lazy to read. Usually, I browse over photos in blogs. I only read when I get interested with the topic. Most blogs I follow are those with photos.
The following list are some of my favourite gurus' blogs:

7. I also check my gmail and BPI bank account. lol! In case some one deposited..harharharhar!

So, there you go. some of my most visited sites online..
Any other sites you might want to suggest I can check out? I'd appreciste it.

How To: Bold Red Lips

Bold Red Lips are never out of style.
Below is a video how I do my perfect red lips.

1. Use a red lip liner to outline the lips and then shade it after. It will help the red lip color stay in place and prevent bleeding.
2. Then apply rep lip color on top of lip liner.
3. Finish of with a red lip gloss. 3 layers of lip products will ensure long hours of wear. =)

My Everyday Make up Look 1

My everyday make look #1

Here's how I do my Shades of Brown Everyday Make up Look
with double lines to give it that extra kick..
I did this for Miss Jhaka Bboouttiquee.
Hope you like
it.

Step1 :
I shape the brows first gently shading it with a dark brown eyeshadow
using an angled brush for precise application.
Groom the brows well because they frame the eyes.

Step 2:
I then applied a shimmery cream eye shadow as base.
This will help the next eye shadows adhere best to the lids.

Step 3:
I now take a shimmery light bronze eyeshadow from my 88 palette
and then pat and blend it on the lid.
Blend the edges back and forth to create soft edges.

Step 4:
Take a darker matte brown e/s and apply it on the outer V
or where your lid sinks in when you push it.
Dab and brush in a circular motion to blend it well
and create depth.

Step5:
Using a gel liner with a thin angled eyeliner brush,
line your lashline as close to the lash line as possible.
Create a flick or wing at the end to create an illusion of elongated eyes.
Also apply on the lower 2/3 lashline of your eye and create a second flick
making sure it does not touch the upper line.
Make the flicks separate from each other.

Step 6:

Curl your lashes and apply mascara.
This will help to open up the eyes.

and the final look:

Hope you like it.. (wink wink)
