Skincare must be considered a necessity. If your body needs proper diet and exercise for health maintenance, so does your skin needs proper skin care. Here's a list of fundamental products you must have to properly care for your skin.

1. Cleanser
Whether it may be a foam, cream, milk or oil, whatever the form is, facial cleansers must be a staple in your your skin care regimen. After a long day of wearing makeup, exposure to dust and smoke and accumulated oil,  all these gunks must be
removed from your skin before you hit the bed. Oil and dirt are one if the causes of breakouts, and you don't want those tinu tomatoes growing in your face. Also just like you, during sleeping, your skin is resting as well. So give it time to breathe by removing gunks from your pores.

Currently I am using Tony Moly's Perfect Micro Scrub Foam. I love this as it totally cleans waterproof eyeliners and mascaras. It also doesn't sting the eyes.

2. Scrub
The skin also regenerates from time to time. In order to facilitate the development of new and bright skin cells, scrub off those dead and dull ones. You can do facial scrubbing 2-3 times a week. Scrubbibg daily isn't healthy as you might be irritating your skin already. There are a lot of facial scrubs available in the market. My favorite is the St. Ives Apricot Scrub. But you can also make your own at home made out of powderized rice or sugar crystals added with honey.

3. Mask
After cleansing and scrubbing, you would want to replenish the lost moisture and nutrients from your skin. There are many kinds of masks depending on what your skin needs. You can have moisturizing mask if you have dry skin, anti blemish or anti-acne if you have pimples, brightening masks if you have dark skin and so on. They also come in many forms. Masks can be a cream, a cotton mask, mud or even a DIY food mask made out of ingredients from your kitchen.  Here's an oatmeal mask recipe you can do at home.

4. Moisturizer
Lastly, after cleansing and applying mask,  the final step is a moisturizer. Moisturizer will also help hydrate, keep your skin supple and lock in moisture.

*optional
Apart from these which are optional, you can also add in eye creams, day/night cream, serum, or essences or blemish creams in your skin care routine depending on thhe instruction of your desired product.

So there, you may skip other products but these should mainly be a part of your skin health ritual. Try to do this and you'll get youthful, bright and naturally beautiful skin.
